Grading
Grading will be completed within 48 hours after the assignment due date has ended. Please make sure to complete all assignments in a timely fashion. Late work will only be accepted on the day following the due date (for example, if it was due on Sunday it will only be accepted on Monday) with a 50% grade reduction. If you have questions or concerns about your grade, do not hesitate to contact me for clarification. A 70-average or higher must be maintained to be promoted to the ninth grade.

Quizzes
A minimum of 20 quizzes will be given over the course of the 36 weeks. Quizzes will range from vocabulary quizzes to pop quizzes on material that was covered. All information that is presented is fair game for quizzes. All quizzes will be completed either on Socrative, BrainPop, or Edmodo. Quizzes will be open only on Fridays, and cannot be re-opened for any reason.
Discussions
Module discussions are designed to engage a student's interaction with others in the course and provide constant, helpful feedback and assistance when dealing with various issues. Discussion postings should be courteous, thoughtful, and carefully written. To facilitate the discussion and prevent procrastination, two deadlines are scheduled for each discussion. Pay attention to each date.
Assignments
Weekly assignments will be given to provide you information on the concept for that unit. If you are struggling to understand a concept, early in the week is the best time to ask for help. This will allow time for me to clarify and aid you in any way possible. All external sources are acceptable to aid you with assignments. However, make sure that you correctly cite the work and that it is a valid and reliable website.
